Three stone’s throws to the west stands the huge natural foods supermarket owned by one of America’s tech billionaires.
The competition from corporate giants has not been kind to locally-owned grocery stores. Over the past few decades, 40 percent of the locals have succumbed to the competition of corporate giants. Yet some have found a way to survive.
Though the competition for consumers’ food dollars from corporate giants is ferocious, Staff of Life Natural Foods still stands. Clearly, this local grocer is doing something right. And so we ask:
