Glyphosate and GMOs

To any who have labored under the hot sun killing weeds, glyphosate –Roundup– is a miracle. You spray it on the weeds, they die!
Plants genetically-modified to withstand glyphosate are companion miracles. Spray glyphosate on crops growing in the field, everything dies but the genetically modified plants.
Wow! It’s little wonder that most of our principal economic crops are now genetically modified to withstand glyphosate. No more hoeing weeds under the hot summer sun– magnificent miracles for agriculture!
But what is in the miracles of glyphosate and genetically-modified crops for consumers?
The World Health Organization claims glyphosate is a probable cause of cancer in humans. 93% of the urine sampled from the general public by the University of California San Francisco tested positive for glyphosate.
Is the UCSF study a legitimate look at the glyphosate in our bodies? Is the amount of glyphosate in our bodies medically significant?

Glyphosate is ubiquitous in our environment. IT is in the soil, air, rain and rivers as well as in the feed and manure of livestock (which os used for fertilizer) and is continually recirculated throughout the system. Glyphosate needs to be banned.
