And so the school administrators held me back a year, with the thought being the second time around second grade I would see that becoming manageable would be far better than spending the rest of my life in second grade.
So I became manageable, at least, sort of…
I don’t think school administrators do that anymore. I think what they do now is drug the unmanageable into submission and call it a day. But the medications don’t stop at the end of their day, they keep right on coming, day after day after day…
According to the Citizens Commission on Human Rights, 36 of the recent perpetrators of school shootings or related acts of violence shared three things in common:
Each had a gun; each had a history of psychotropic medication; and each had a homicidal ideation…
