Some say the pandemic started when someone ate a bowl of bat soup in a Wuhan wetmarket. Others say it began when the novel coronavirus leaked out of a laboratory at the Wuhan Virology Institute. And still others say it was “opportunistic bioterrorism” to destroy the world’s economy and get rid of that mean old American President Donald J. Trump.
At this time, there is no answer to the who, what, where, why and when of the Covid-19 pandemic. Though there are no answers, there is a lot of searching for them by those who are curious. What the searchers are finding is a vast, world-wide network of money and people who call to mind a 1961 warning given by President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who said, “Beware of the military industrial complex.”
