Were you to climb on a horse to herd a couple hundred frisky cattle from their favorite pasture into confinement, you would likely end up hiring a couple of dogs to do the job instead.
”I want a dog with brains and bite,” said rancher and dog trainer Jerry Davis to the Ottumwa Courier. “They like the work and I always say the worst thing you can do to them is give them a day off!”
